Morpeth Masonic Hall Caterer Cooks up a Tasty Treat for Local Residents and Key Workers

18th May 2020

Andrea Blakelock and her partner Kevin Elliot, who run the catering and bar at Morpeth Masonic Hall have been providing meals over the past few weeks to support people who are self-isolating due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Andrea and her team prepare and cook the meals and deliver them to residents in the Morpeth area.

Recently, Andrea delivered her freshly cooked food to the emergency services at Morpeth Ambulance Station and to Pegswood Fire Station to say thank you for the amazing job they are doing in these challenging times. Andrea is also planning to deliver her freshly baked pies, quiche and lasagne to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington and to the Riverside House Care Home in Morpeth.

She has also teamed up with Morrisons in Morpeth to deliver food parcels to local people who are self-isolating and need extra support. Orders are being taken for freshly cooked meals including pies, quiche, pastries etc. The portions come in all sizes from large family size to individual portions.

“I really miss all the Freemasons and the Masonic meetings that have been suspended due to COVID-19, but I’m just so pleased I’m able to support the local community and emergency key workers in and around Morpeth in these difficult times.”

Thank you to Andrea and the team for everything they are doing to support people during the current situation.
