The members and guests of Northumbrian Masters Lodge No.3477 were treated to the vision of the future of freemasonry when the Assistant Grand Master, Sir David Hugh Wootton, paid a visit to Newcastle upon Tyne.

In a packed Fern Avenue Masonic Centre an audience of nearly 100 masons, spanning the generations, received a very engaging, enlightening and forward thinking talk entitled “Creating our future”.
From the numbers and wide demographic in attendance it can only be assumed that The Province of Northumberland are already at the fore in connection with this vision.
A brimming festive board rounded the evening off beautifully during which time the Assistant Grand Master and the Provincial Grand Master mingled with, and answered questions from, the assembled brethren.
