Royal Order of Scotland

The Royal Order of Scotland is an appendant order within the structures of British Freemasonry. Membership is an honour extended to Freemasons by invitation. The Grand Lodge of the Royal Order of Scotland is headquartered in Edinburgh, with a total of 88 Provincial Grand Lodges in several locations around Britain, and in a number of countries around the world.

Roya Order of Scotland

At the regular meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Northumbria held at Shiremoor on 4th June 2018, R W Bro. John Warham was installed as Provincial Grand Master by the Substitute Governor of the Order, Bro David Derek Heart. He was assisted by Bro. Alan Dickson, Grand Clerk, Acting Grand Secretary and Bro. Ewan Rutherford, Grand Marischal who directed the ceremony and supervised the installation of Office Bearers for 2018-2019.

This marks the retirement of R W Bro. David Melvin, who was Provincial Grand Master from 2011-2018. The brethren wish him a happy and well earned retirement.
